It's Not Easy Being Cheesy

Okay, maybe it is. Especially for me. After all, I grew up in the ‘80s and it doesn't get cheesier than that!

In the Thanksgiving Appetizers Packet that can be found here, I have a recipe for mini cheeseboards to serve to your guests. The cheeseboards are so cute! Maybe because I'm short, I tend to gravitate towards cutesy miniature kitchen items. My love for minis doesn’t stop with these cheese boards, which I have linked here for you. I also love tiny spoons, tiny whisks, tiny pitchers and tiny bowls. I think it's a fun way to serve up cheese, crackers, fruits, nuts, and even meats. You can also repurpose them and create mini dessert boards.

Three mini wooden cheeseboards, each with a wedge of brie, fruit-and-nut crisps, crackers, red grapes, macadamia nuts, and a sprig of rosemary.

I'm always looking for cute and clever ways to wow my guests, or even just myself. Just remember, we are here to entertain ourselves as well as everybody else.

Whether you're entertaining a large crowd or a small crowd, these are pretty easy to assemble. I recommend putting the cheeseboards on a sheet tray, that way they don't fall or get jumbled in a fridge. You can prep them ahead of time, however, if you're using apples or pears, cut them before serving. I do not suggest keeping the crackers in the fridge as they can lose their crunch. You can absolutely put the nuts, grapes, berries, cheese and meat on the board. If you prep earlier in the day, cover and pop in the fridge until you’re ready to serve.

I hope you make these and love the aesthetic appeal as much as I do!
