What's in the Fridge? Home-Cooked Meals Made by You!
I’m the cheffy friend you didn't know you needed while you cook.
My mission is to make cooking at home less of a chore and more fun--no matter what life throws at you--a missing ingredient, drama at work, or even a shoe. Yes, a shoe. Pull up a stool, grab a latte, and let's hang!

Cook Like Nobody’s Watching
Relax and enjoy your time in the kitchen, it's not that bad. In my cookbooks, I have included tips and tricks on how to be successful in any kitchen. I take the thinking out of meal planning with balanced meal and snack charts and provide shopping lists for a well-stocked dorm or home so you are always prepared to make a great meal.
What's in the Dorm Fridge? has 50 healthy recipes and ideas designed for a dorm room, and dorm kitchen. (But people of all ages are loving this book.) It's perfect for those who are looking for an alternative to processed foods, but are short on time and space.
What's in the Fridge? goes bigger with 100 easy recipes and ideas using what you probably already have on hand, so dinner stops being something you dread. It's filled with savory appetizers, hearty soups, fresh salads, filling breakfasts, batch cooking for the freezer, delicious dinners, quick desserts and drinks.
seasonal recipe packets
Recipes on Demand
Want some recipes now? My recipe packets contain on average six recipes that are built around a season, a holiday, or a theme -- because who doesn't love a good food theme? They're perfect for trying something new or building a fun menu for a get-together, without waiting (or while waiting) for a cookbook to show up in the mail!
Meet Jill
Your Cooking Sidekick
My passion for cooking started when I was 8-years-old and never stopped. From hanging around the craft service table working in TV production to starting my own personal chef business when my daughter was two, I have always been interested in feeding people.
What's in the Fridge? is named after my personal chef business because every night someone asks, "What's for dinner?" and every night someone answers, "I don't know, what's in the fridge?" My hope is to change that "I don't know" into "can I please have some more?"

The Blog
Pull Up a Stool
This is where I keep the conversation going with a variety of topics and stories from what's actually in my fridge, a kitchen win or a kitchen disaster, and whatever I'm currently cooking on repeat. Consider this the kitchen counter chat that didn't fit in a cookbook!
